A vibrant mix of chef, entrepreneur, and consummate hostess, Cyndi Sterne has spearheaded Yes, Chef! Culinary Events into the Atlanta events conversation since 2010.
Her first taste of cooking was at 11 years old when her summer job was to cater business lunches for her father. This passion continued into adulthood while working at restaurants during high school, college and beyond. She holds two degrees from Indiana University, one through their prestigious School of Music. Her culinary training has come from working alongside accomplished chefs, various workshops, professional training, and personal commitment to the craft.
As a single parent, Cyndi worked at the non-profit Marcus JCC as the Youth and Family Programs Director. She developed successful children’s cooking camps as well as classes for adults, which are still in use today. After five years of inspiring people of all ages to have fun while cooking, it became a full time obsession. The idea to create a cooking school was born. With motivation from her parents Hal & Judi, Cyndi gathered her years of experience and launched Yes, Chef! Culinary Events. After a year into her business, she met her soul mate, David, and built a happy home for their kids and hungry pups, Java and Jet.
With a focus on Corporate Team Building and Private Events, Yes, Chef! Culinary Events has found its niche. Cyndi’s dedication to outstanding customer service, fun loving personality, and quality ingredients has made the Yes, Chef! Culinary Events experience unique. Her A-list clients include executives from Randstad USA, Mercedes Benz USA, Cox Inc., The Home Depot, and IHG, to name a few.
Cooking together is one of the most transformative experiences. Not only is it the bedrock of culture and tradition, but the connectivity is incredibly unique. It is fulfilling to create a common bond that everyone from a CEO to a child can share.
