Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Camp

Kids are taking over the kitchen! Learn tasty treats and useful techniques during this week-long, hands on camp. Campers will be actively creating breakfast, lunch, dinner, and treats all in preparation for the most coveted reservation in town: Parents Banquet! Camp is Monday through Friday 10am until 2pm. Ages 8-14.

Monday – Breakfast: We will review knife skills and sanitation, and jump right into a delicious breakfast with poached eggs and hollandaise, fluffy biscuits with seasonal fruit jam, breakfast potatoes, berries with mint. After “brunch” kids will be making filled doughnuts.

Tuesday – Lunch: Imagine making your favorite fast food fried chicken at home! For lunch, kids will be making favorite fried chicken, Hawaiian style buns, kale salad, and Whoopie Pies for dessert. (We will be subbing fried tofu or fried fish to meet any dietary restrictions–just let us know in advance!)

Wednesday – Dinner: After this day, we fully expect kids to be in charge of dinner at home. Your chef-in-training will create zucchini fritters with yogurt sauce, perfectly seared salmon with dill-lemon compound butter, vegetable gratin, and classic risotto, finished with a double chocolate tart.

Thursday – Snack Time!: We will fill in all the space in between with home made hummus and scratch made pita, quick pizza, ice cream, and cream puffs. We will also spend time creating an exciting menu for our big banquet.

Friday – Parents Banquet: The students will spend the first half of the day preparing a delicious meal to showcase their knowledge and skills. Please join us at 12 pm for a sit-down luncheon and presentation. The banquet is limited to two adults only.

**We regret that we cannot accommodate any food allergies. However, we will do our best to make substitutions for vegetarians, etc. Menus are subject to change.
